CWC Italian Large Covered Platter (for fish) Oval Embossed 23x13x2.5 Heavy Stoneware. This is one of the most awesome pieces I have found in my 23 yrs. of selling online. The platter part is 23x13x2.5 in. The cover extends to 5.5 in. high and 7.5 in. to the top of knob. The color of my table is a light beige so you can see the white color. Made in Italy. MINT Condition. Stoneware and very heavy. The cover is more like a globe fitting over the bowl part of the platter. It is the most elegant serving piece I have seen that is not porcelain or bone china. It will also take a very large box to ship safely so the shipping will be expensive but necessary to ensure correct and safe packing. It will also be fully insured for whatever the sale price ends up at. This truly is a one-of-a-kind piece. I have searched the internet and could not find anything even close. A perfect wedding gift or a gift for somone who likes elegant things and is hard to buy for. It can be used for more than only fish as well. I could see a large pot roast and trimmings in this.
